Body image is something that many people struggle with. Too fat, too skinny, too tall, too short, and on and on. Some of this is rooted in the world's suggestions of what is beautiful, hip, cool, and acceptable. On a daily basis, I try to challenge and encourage people to have a body-positive mindset, and help guide them with ideas for change to help them reach healthy goals.
A post was recently published talking about 6 things that people that are body-positive do every day, and I would encourage you to read and share this information, as it is something that helps people project positivity into their health and into their lives. It's not about being a certain weight, or having a certain look if those things are not healthy. We get caught up in losing weight for bikini season, or dropping 10 pounds to look good at our class reunion, but then what? Do we go back to our old ways of unhealthy living? I challenge each of you reading this to take a look at things you can do to be body-positive!
